Prominent Campbell County Man Called Away
Another sudden death in Campbell County yesterday morning was
that of Henry Whitehouse, a well known mill roller. Whitehouse lived at No
315 West Tenth street, Newport. As had been his custom, he arose at 4 am
yesterday to go to work at the Newport Rolling Mill. he complained of not
feeling well and action upon the advice of his wife, returned to bed.
He had hardly retired before he gasped and expired. Dr, Tingley rendered a verdict of death from heart disease. Whitehouse was 54 years of age and a native of England. he had been a resident of Newport for 25 years and was well known in rolling mill circles.
