Henry Wetzel, father of Councilman Brown Wetzel and well known citizen, died at the age of 69, after a lingering illness, in the home of his son, D H Wetzel, 1113 Seventh av. Dayton Ky.
He was a Civil War veteran and was a member fo the Jo Hooker Post GAR. He is survived by a widow and six adult children. The funeral will be held from the residence at 1 pm Friday, Rev H W Brunton officiating. The remains will be interred in Wesleyan Cemetery.
