KILLED BY LIGHTNING-Tuesday afternoon about three o'clock, Mr.
Henry Stumps, who resides on a farm three miles from Alexandria, was struck by
lightning and killed almost instantly. He was standing by the side of his mother
when it happened.
She was standing at his right side and the strike took effect on the left side of his body. Mr. Stumps was a married man and leaves a wife and two children. His remains were interred on his mother's residence near Alexandria, yesterday.
