Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 pm at the home for Henry F Mettens, 73, of 12 Sixth st. Newport, who died suddenly Tuesday. Rev Paul Reikow, pastor of St Johns Episcopal Church, Newport, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mettens succumbed to an attack of apoplexy. He had been a resident of Newport since childhood and was a retired iron molder.
He is survived by five children, Mrs. Augusta Smith, Piqua O. H H Mettens, Cincinnati; J P Mettens, Latonia; Miss Clara Mettens, Newport and Mrs. Helen Beckman, Ft Thomas.
