Henry Havlin, whose hand was badly lacerated by a vicious dog, some time ago, is critically ill at his home on Fourth av. Dayton, with blood poisoning. His entire left side, including shoulder and arm, is affected.

The funeral of Henry C Havlin, who died Wednesday night at his home, 517 Fourth av. Dayton, took place today from his residence at 2 pm. His death was due to a complication of diseases. Havlin was 77 and had lived in Dayton for nearly 50 years. He was once Marshal and was a veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars.

He was in the Navy during the latter war and was also a member of the George H Thomas Post of Cincinnati. Two sons and a daughter survive him.
