Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Vonderhaar and Stetter funeral home, Newport, for Henry Gemmer, who died Saturday at his home, 7617 Hamilton avenue, Cincinnati. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Gemmer, proprietor of dry cleaning establishments in Mt Healthy and Cincinnati, was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps of Mt Healthy American Legion. He is a veteran of World War I.
He leaves his widow, Jessie Gemmer; five sons, Gene, Glenn, Gary, Wilbur and Lester Gemmer, all of Newport; two stepsons, Floyd and Leroy Ervin, both of Dayton Ky. one daughter, Mrs. Betty Jane Shields, Newport; three brothers, John Homer, and George Gemmer, all of Newport; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hurd, Newport, and Mrs. Reba Notter, Ruzon Ariz. and seven grandchildren.
