SOLDIER GOES WRONG-Case of Henry Florence, private of the 10th Infantry, Ft Thomas, who police charged, became intoxicated and forced his way into the home of Mrs. Nancy Stevens, 230 W Fifth st. Newport, was referred to army authorities Thursday by Judge Alfred G Maybury in Newport Police Court.
Florence, policed said, was in civilian clothes and went to Mrs. Stevens apartment and demanded entrance. Mrs. Stevens said she did not know the defendet and when she refused him admittance he broke down a door. Mrs. Stevens screams attracted neighbors and they summoned police. John Schnelle, Charles Burkey and Robert McSorley, patrolman, found Florence in the woman's apartment. He had to be subdued by police.
