NEWPORT BRIEFS
Mr. Henry Ficker died yesterday morning at his home on Monmouth
street. He was a pioneer German citizen and one of the oldest inhabitants
of this city. He was a member of the St Joseph Orphan Society. Two sons
and a daughter survive him.

NEWPORT
The funeral of Henry Ficker, the well known shoe merchant, took place yesterday morning with services at St Stephen Church. The remains were interred in St Stephen Cemetery.
