Joseph M Donnelly, brother of H P Donnelly, of 524 Columbia Street, Newport, returned Wednesday after a four years absence, most of which he was in the regular army as a member of the Seventh Cavalry. He joined the Seventh at the breaking out of the Spanish War and later transferred to the hospital ship service, where he was made Sergeant at Arms. Afterward he traveled in Mexico for his health.

Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 am Wednesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newport for Henry P Donnelly, 524 Columbia Street, Newport, who died Sunday at the Ft Thomas Rest Home after a brief illness. Prayers will be said at 8:30 am at the Betz Funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in St Stephen Cemetery, Ft Thomas.

Mr. Donnelly was divisional wire chief of the Western Union Co. Cincinnati, when he retired 10 years ago. He had been with the firm 43 years. He was 80. He leaves two brothers, W H Donnelly, Baytown Tex. and J M Donnelly, Temple City, Cal. and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Tuesday.
