Hauser Saloon

Kentucky Post, Thursday, 2 April 1903, page 3

Albert Hauser, the saloon keeper of Fairfield and O'Fallon Avenues, Bellevue, had a thrilling experience at midnight Tuesday. He had just finished counting the day's receipts when he noticed three men peeping over the top of a window. He secured a revolver and went to the side door, but no trace of the men cound be found.

He returned and collecting the money in a cigar box, he took two revolvers and started to find the strangers. He had not gone far when he met the men who gave him the April fool laugh.
