MISS ROWLAND
Miss Hattie Rowland, 22, died Friday at her home, 302 Chestnut
Street, Newport, after a two weeks' illness of stomach trouble. Her funeral took
place Saturday afternoon from the family residence.
Rev Adam K Adcocks, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated at the services, after which the remains were laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
