The Silver Star has gone to Staff Sergt. Harvey R Barrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S Barrett, 409 Kenton street, Dayton, who was cited for "outstanding aerial actions" in the European and North African operations. His actions have been mostly in North Africa. His is with a troop transport squadron. Sergt. Barrett, who enlisted in 1939, has also served in Labrador and Iceland.
