DIED WHILE READING PAPER
Harvey Bachelor, aged 48, died suddenly yesterday at his home,
110 Fourth avenue, following a stroke of apoplexy. He was in his usual health,
had just eaten a heart dinner and was sitting in front of his home reading the
Enquirer.
He suddenly toppled from his chair and expired within a few moments. His wife screamed for help and the neighbors hastily summoned Dr. Griggs. Death ensued, however, before the arrival of the physician. Coroner Digby held an inquest later and returned a verdict of death due to apoplexy.
Bachelor was employed as a polisher at the Globe Wernicke Company, Cincinnati and is survived by a widow.
