H D Skinner, a captain in the Air Corps stationed at Miami Fla. has mailed Newport business men and merchants copies of the first edition of Gremlin, a newspaper published under his direction. The paper is an eight page weekly tabloid and is published in the interest of the 36th Street Airport in Miami.
Capt. Skinner on leave of absence as executive secretary of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce, has been recommended for promotion to the rank of major, his friends here learned. Capt. Skinner, a veteran of World War I, enlisted seven months ago. He is assigned as special service officer at the Miami Airport.
