Harry Drake, 70, a veteran of the Civil War, passed away Tuesday at 4 am of throat trouble. His wife died last July at Speers Hospital and since that time he has been making his home with his sister in law, Mrs. Mary Bowen, of 510 Fifth Avenue, Dayton.

He was a member of the Twenty-seventh Ohio Infantry during the war and served three years. The remains will be sent to Williamsburg O. for interment Thursday. Prayer will be offered by Rev J A College.

The funeral of Harry Drake, the Civil War veteran, will take place Thursday. Short services will be held at the home of his sister in law, on Fifth Avenue, Dayton, after which the remains will be sent to Williamsburg O. for interment.

The remains of Harry Drake, a veteran of the Civil War, who passed away Tuesday at the home of his sister in law, Mrs. Mary Bowen, on Fifth Avenue, Dayton, were sent to Williamsburg O. Thursday for interment. Rev J A College, pastor of the Methodist Church, held a short prayer before the remains were removed. His wife died at Speers Hospital last July.
