NEWPORT DEATH
Harry Brown Buchanan, of Newport, died yesterday at his late
residence on York near Eighth after a long illness. paralysis was the cause of
death. He was about 58 years of age and leaves a widow but no children.
He was Junior Warden of the vestry of St Paul P E Church and was an earnest worker in that congregation. Mr. Buchanan was born in Portsmouth and came to Newport in 1851. He has lived here ever since, being engaged with his brother Frank in the real estate and insurances business.
