Announcement has been made from headquarters of the Fifth Corps Area, Columbus O. of the Kentucky applicants who have been selected to attend the citizens military camp at Camp Knox, Louisville Ky. Applicants are to report to the commanding officer of the Camp Aug 1. The training will extend over a period of four weeks.

Newport men selected are Harry Barton Ausdemoore Jr. 564 E Third st.; Aloysius Stanley Bruch, 628 Monmouth st; Stanley R Dine, 913 Monmouth st; Norbert J Dorsel, 640 Linden av; Herbert V Lukens, 18 17th st; John A Riordan, 318 Monmouth st.

Lieutenant Harry B Ausdemoore, ORC of Newport, has been assigned as a military instructor at the Citizens Military Training Camp at Camp Knox. Ausdemoore has been in charge of CMTC recruiting in northern Kentucky.

Harry Ausdemoore, 63, died at Wednesday at Speers Hospital, lived in Newport for 37 years. Besides his widow, Mrs. Alice Ausdemoore, he is survived by a son, Harry B Ausdemoore Jr. commandant at the West Chester Military Academy, Peeksville NY. The son arrived home Thursday morning for the funeral.

A number of reserve officers of the US Infantry were at the Ft Thomas army post Friday to begin 15 days of active duty with troops. The reserve officers have been assigned to companies in 10th Infantry and will assist in the preparation of the army post for Citizens Military Training Camp, to be held during July.

Officers are: Lieutendant Harry B Ausdemoore, Newport Ky.

Order of transfer from the Lexington Ky. docket to the Covington docket for trial during the April term of Federal Court was issued by Judge A M J Cochran, in the three damage suits totaling $30,000, against Harry B Ausdemoore Jr. Millersburg Ky.

Albert Johnson, Millard Johnson and Everett Thompson, all of Cincinnati, claim they were injured Dec 29 when their auto collided with one driven by Ausdemoore on the Dixie Highway, 10 miles south of Williamstown Ky.
