PFC. Harold J Steinhauser, 30, former member of the Ft Thomas
Board of Education, died of wounds Nov 29 which were sustained while fighting in
France Nov 15. The War Department notification was received by his wife, Mrs.
Adelaide Steinhauser of 58 Curtis avenue and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Steinhauser, of 1230 N Ft Thomas avenue.
A member of the infantry, Pfc. Steinhauser had been in the Army since November 1943 and overseas since April. Before entering the Army he was in business with his father at the A Steinhauser & Son Printing Co establishment at 124 Government place, Cincinnati. The soldier was a member of the Ft Thomas Lions Club and of the Salem Methodist Church, Newport.
