DEATH
Word was received here yesterday of the death of New York City of
Mrs. Gwentholin McCrae Robinson, who was well known among the older residents of
Newport. Mrs. Robinson resided for many years in Newport but of late had been
making her home in New York City.
She was a daughter of Major Nathaniel McCrae, who was commandant at the old Newport Barracks of the United States Army for many years. Her only son died about three years ago. According to the information received, Mrs. Robinson's death was rather sudden and was due to inflammation of the heart.
The remains will be brought to Newport and the interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery some time tomorrow.

NEWPORT
The funeral of Mrs. McCrae Robinson took place yesterday afternoon with services at the Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. The body was placed in the vault at Evergreen Cemetery.
