Benjamin Gosney Cemetery

Previously known as the Bud Brown Cemetery in Grants Lick, Kentucky

3 Miles west of Clay Ridge Road from Route 27

Updates by Ivan K Baker added 1 October 2004

Photos submitted by Herman R "Buck" Seibert Jr.

I visited this site on June 28, 2006. Many graves here marked only with field stones or the inscriptions have disappeared. I took a GPS reading in the cemetery and took some digital photos. I found the stones for Mary H. Gosney and Sarah Gosney. In addition I found one grave that was not on the list.

Elizabeth J.
Daughter of
S.D. & M.A. Taylor
Born July 13, 1835
Died Feb 23, 1849
The inscription was hard to read so a couple of the numbers may be wrong. NOTE: The Eliz Taylor name on the headstone page does have different dates. To see the headstone of this cemetery, go to Benjamin Gosney Cemetery Headstones.
