T. Sgt. Gordon L Meadows, husband of Mrs. Daisy Mae Meadows, of 611 Liberty street, Newport, was seriously wounded in France when a German mine exploded Oct 24, the War Department informed his family. Now in a French hospital.

Services for Gordon Meadows, 34 year old Ft Thomas resident, who collapsed and died Friday after boarding a bus at Second street and Broadway, Cincinnti, will be held at the A C Dobbling and Son funeral home, Ft Thomas at 10:30 am Tuesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Meadows, who had been decorated twice with the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in action in World War II, died of natural causes, it was reported by the Hamilton county coroner's office. A foreman at the Temple Bar Building, Court and Main streets, Cincinnati, Mr. Meadows was en route to his home at 1011 South Ft Thomas avenue, when stricken.
He leaves his widow, Daisy Mae Meadows and a son, Gordon Jr.
