Golden Banfield-Tester died July 8, 2007 in Cincinnati, Ohio from injuries sustained in a fall. She was residing with her eldest son Michael, in Alexandria, Ky.
Born in Frenchburg on April 6, 1919 to John Banfield and Tennessee (Tennie) Wills-Banfield, she married Orlan Tester on October 25, 1947. Her husband died in 1990.
Surviving children are Michael (Linda) Tester,
Alexandria, Ky., Marlin (Missy), Elsmere, Ky., Marilyn Israel (Dennis),
Washington, D.C., Malcolm (Penny) Lexington N.C., Emma, Park Hills, Ky., and
Warren, Union, Ky. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 32 great
grandchildren. Her first great-great grandchild is due in December.
She is also survived by a sister Ada Schwartz,
Southgate, Ky and Ruby Little, Mariba,
Ky. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Ky.
