Fatal Accident
About eight o'clock yesterday morning, two lads named Gerhard
Groene and Henry Otto, were engaged in gathering chips and refuse wood in the
rear of the Licking Saw mill, when the former was crushed to death by the
butt-end of a large log rolling on him, caused by his pulling a stick from under
it.
The other boy was very badly injured.
