HEHMAN FUNERAL
The funeral of Gerard Hehman, of Newport, who was for years one of the best known business men of this city, will take place from his residence, 434 Chestnut street, Newport at 9 a.m. to-day.
Mr. Hehman was one of the pioneers in the commission business in this city. He organized the firm of G. Hehman & Son, on Water street, in 1870. It is still in existence. Mr. Herrman (sic) came to this city from Prussia in 1845, and moved to Newport in 1846. For several years, he has been ailing. He died Saturday morning.
He leaves three sons, Messrs. Henry, Louis & George Hehman, and two daughters, Mrs. Augusta Veith and Mrs. Bernardina Felix. The services will be held at Corpus Christi Church, Newport.
