Services for George Worland, 1039 Saratoga street, Newport, will be held at the John J Radel funeral home, Newport at 2:30 pm Thursday. Rev Fred Sanders of Salem Methodist Church is to officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Worland, a veteran of World War I, died Sunday at Veterans Hospital, Dayton O. where he had gone Friday. His wife, Mrs. Mary Krebs Worland died last April 18.
He leaves three brothers, Frank of Dayton; Jesse, Indianapolis Ind. and James of Prestonsburg Ky; a half brother, Joseph Rosenberry, Ind. and three stepsons, Sylvester Krebs, Dayton; John Krebs, Greenhills O. and Pfc. Stewart Krebs, stationed overseas.
