FUNERAL
The funeral of George White took place yesterday afternoon from
the residence, York street, Newport. Services were conducted by Rev William S
Maxwell of the Taylor Street M E Church. Floral contributions were received from
the Newport Loan and Building Association and the Business Mens Club and many
friends.
The active pall bearers were George Morlidge, Frederick McLane, John Eicher, William Geyer, Thomas Jeffers and John Winnsey. The Newport Building Association sent the honoary pall bearers: William L Glazier, J J Ciarle, Thomas Hogan and John W Brown.
