Kentucky Post, Saturday, 13 April 1907, page 5
Coroner Digby of Newport, was called to Grants Lick Precinct yesterday afternoon to investigate the death of George Tarvin, a resident of that place. Tarvin is single and resided with his parents. Yesterday morning he complained of pains about his heart and members of the family administered medicine that had been prescribed by his physician. Shortly after taking the medicine he became unconscious and died.
It was thought at first that he had accidentally been given an overdose of the medicine but Coroner Digby, after hearing the testimony of the members of the family, rendered a verdict of death from heart disease.
