Dr. George H Schaber, 35, Newport physician, died Sunday at the home of his father in law, Dr. J F Hounston, Alexandria, Ky. following an illness of 10 weeks. Dr. Schaber was widely known. He was an intern at Speers Hospital for a year. He had an office at 734 York st. Newport.
Dr. Schaber formerly was principal of Williamstown, Winchester and Morganfield schools. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He was a member of the Morganfield Lodge of Masons. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Irene Schaber; a son, Jack and his father-in-law Dr. Houston. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from the home of Dr. Houston, Alexandria.
