George Sand

George Sand, 75, of California, died Wednesday at his home. He was a laborer with Labor Union Local No. 265, Cincinnati, and a farmer. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Laura Sand, died in 1989. A son, Larry Sand, died in 1996.
Survivors include daughters, Connie Ahrens of Garden Grove, Calif., Anita Carmony and Diana Carmony, both of California, and Barbara Mygrant of Cincinnati; sisters, Ruth Erb, Clara Hogle and Rita Sand, all of California; a brother, Paul Sand of California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075.
