NEWPORT DEATH
George W Nealeans, 67, a pressman for 20 years in the employ of
the Enquirer, died yesterday at his home, 24 East Second street,
of heart trouble and dropsy. Nealeans wife died some time ago and this is
thought to have hastened his end.
He leaves one child, Mrs. George Simms. Nealeans was employed on the Enquirer when it was on Main street. His brother James was a foreman on the Enquirer for 30 years and another brother, William, is in the employ of the Age-Herald at Birmingham Ala. Two of his sisters are Mrs. John Martin of Cincinnati, and Miss Alice Nealeans, who was formerly a teacher in the Newport schools.

The funeral of George Nealeans, for many years employed by the Enquirer as a pressman, took place yesterday afternoon. Services were held at the First Baptist Church. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
