Funeral arrangements are being completed by Vonderhaar and Stetter, Newport funeral directors for George A Messink, 514 Fourth avenue, Dayton, who died Sunday at Veterans Facility, Dayton O. after a hospitalization of three weeks. A veteran of World War I, he was 53 and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Messink.
He was a member of the St Francis Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters. He leaves a brother, Fred Messink, Park Hills; two sisters, Mrs.Clara Weber and Mrs. Henrietta Whaley, Dayton; two nieces and two nephews, and a great niece and a great nephew. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 am Tuesday at St Bernard Church, Dayton, following prayers at the funeral home at 8:30 am.
St Francies Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters will conduct services at 7:45 pm Monday at the funeral home.
