NEWPORT DEATH
George Maurer, 71, veteran steamship carpenter, of 1106 Columbia
st. was found dead in bed Saturday by his son, George Maurer Jr. with whom he
resided. Coroner Digby, after investigating found that his death was caused by
heart trouble.
