NEWPORT
George Koehler, the young lad who met with such a horrible
accident Friday evening, as dictated in yesterday's Enquirer, died at an early
hour yesterday morning as predicted. He was horribly burned, his eyes were
burned out and the flesh peeled off hand, arms and body.
He suffered horrible agony and Dr. Davis, who was summoned, used every means known to the surgeon's art to alleviate his pain until death put an end to his suffering.
