Mrs. George Heck
Kentucky Post, Friday, 2 January 1903, page 5
Mrs. George Heck, of East Seventh Street, Newport, was fined $10
in Police Court Friday morning for interfering with the Sanitary Officer.
Several days ago Sanitary Officer Marx called at the home to place a card on the
house stating that a contagious disease was there.
Mrs. Heck according to the testimony, took down the sign and threatened to do so again if the officer should tack it up. After the patient got entirely well the Health Officer, Dr. Charles Kehm, caused her arrest for the interference.
