GEORGE HAIGIS
Funeral services for George Haigis, Uhl road, Melbourne, will be held at the
residence at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday with Requiem High Mass at St Phillip’s Church,
Melbourne, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. He was 75.
Mr. Haigis, a retired farmer, died Saturday at his home. He leaves his widow,
Mrs. Barbara Haigis; four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Siemon, Mrs. Anna Neltner,
Mrs. Alma Fletcher and Mrs. Helen Hoffman; five sons, George Jr., Jacob,
William, Joseph and Samuel Haigis; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Moser, and 17
grandchildren, all of Melbourne.
Vonderhaar & Stetter, Newport, have charge of the funeral.
