George Washington and Mary Ann Guy

George Washington Guy Sr. was born about 1817 in Maryland the son of Mariden/Marion Guy and died after 1910 in Campbell County.  He married Mary Ann Peake 2 Aug 1835 in Campbell County.  She was born about 1820 in Indiana and died about 1872 in Campbell County. George then married Sarah McGuiness 10 Oct 1876;  She was born 1825 in Pennsylvania and died 3 June 1885 in Newport and was buried in the James McGuiness lot at Evergreen.  George and Mary Ann may have been the folks buried under the 2 headstones in Guyveille* marked "Guy".

*This information was furnished by Walt Lukens (1885-1971).  He said also that he remembers two graves with headstones marked "Guy" on what was later the Plyman property between Rossford Avenue and Covert Run Pike.
