NEWPORT
George Garvey, 45, single, was found died in his bed at his room
in Betz's Hotel on Monmouth street yesterday morning by his roommate, Charles
Asmus, when the latter arose.
Garvey was a well known Newport huckster and had been boarding at Betz's for three years. He was out Saturday evening walking along Monmouth street and retired after Asmus did. He threw himself heavily across the bed and his roommate moved him over. At daylight Asmus discovered Garvey was dead.
Coroner Higgins decided that death was due to neuralgia of the heart. The dead man came originally from Louisville and has an uncle on Walnut Hills, a well known attorney.
