DEATH
George Brown, for many years Superintendent of the yeast
department of the Fleischmann Distillery and later confidential man and private
secretary for Mr. Fleischmann, died yesterday morning at his beautiful residence
just beyond the end of the Ft Thomas car line, on the Alexandria Pike. Nearly a
year ago he was compelled to retire from business on account of failing health.
And since that time, he took trips to California and Florida in hope that a change of climate would prove beneficial. It failed to have the desired effect, however. Mr. Brown was 68 years of age and prior to moving to the Highlands about a year ago resided in Newport. He leaves a wife, but no children.
the funeral services will take place Tuesday afternoon at the residence.
