Garland Masters, 28, a soldier at Ft Thomas, was arrested
Wednesday night by Charles Collins and Harry Dramer, Campbell co. deputy
sheriffs, on a charge of assault preferred by a Bellevue woman. The alleged
attack occurred on the night of Aug 3, the young woman says.
Masters denies the charge. He was lodged in the Newport jail and will be given a preliminary hearing Thursday by Oscar Forster, acting judge of the Campbell County Court.
