NEWPORT BRIEFS
Fritz Heitzman, 68, a well known character about Newport, died
yesterday after a short illness at Speers Hospital. He was admitted to the
institution several days ago, haven been taken ill while confined at the jail,
where he had been sentence by Police Judge Hawkins in order that he might have a
home.
He was sent to the infirmary some time ago but refused to stay there.
