Fred C (Chick) Abel, 62, of 131 Hartweg avenue, Ft Thomas, suffered a heart attack Sunday night in his home and died a short time later. Mr. Abel, a retired sportsman for the last 20 yeas, was well known thoughout northern Kentucky. He was a member of the Highland Golf Club, Ft Thomas, Mens Club and St John Evangelical Church, Newport.
Mr. Abel was a life long resident of Campbell county. He leavs his widow, Gail, a brother, Walter and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Richter, both of Newport. Funeral arrangements will be in charge of A C Dobbling, Ft Thomas funeral directors.

Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Dobbling funeral home, Ft Thomas, for Fred C (Chick) Able, 134 Hartweg avenue, Ft Thomas, sportsman and retired broker, who died Sunday of a heart attack at his home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Wednesday.
