FOUND DEAD AT HOME
Dr. Leo Sauter, Campbell county coroner, returned a verdict of a heart attack Wednesday in the death of Frank Ulrich, 60, former Newport patrolman, who was found dead late Tuesday on the floor of his home, 702 Overton street, Newport.
Neighbors summoned both police and the Newport Life Squad to the scene, but it was found that Mr. Ulrich had been dead for approximately 24 hours. He had not been seen about the neighborhood for two days.
Mr. Ulrich retired two years ago after serving 15 years with the Newport police force. He leaves several nephews and nieces.
