Spontaneous combustion, thought to have resulted from oiled rags being thrown among a pile of shingles, set fire to a stable at the home of Frank Sentif, 307 Center st. Bellevue, yesterday afternoon. The Fire Department responded to an alarm and succeeded in saving the surrounding buildings. The loss will amont to several hundred dollars.

Funeral of Frank Sentif, 80, who died Tuesday at his home, 512 Isabella st. Newport, will be held Friday, 8 am with requiem high mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be at Johns Hill. Sentiff is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jacob Beatsch, Mrs. John Anderson, Mrs. Elizabeth Huber and Mrs. Clara Southall.
