Frank Hill, of Co E Second Infantry, attempted suicide by drinking carbolic acid in his home on Bruntwood pl. Ft Thomas, about midnight last night. He was taken to the post hospital, where it was found that owing to the weak solution of the acid, he was in no danger having only been slightly burned about the mouth.

He refused to state why he attempted to take his life. Hill is married.

Frank Hill, Co E Second Infantry, who made an attempt to commit suicide by swallowing carbolic acid was taken from the hospital and placed in the guardhouse to await trial before the general court which will be called next week.
