Rerald E Heidebrink, 4, has received a Purple Heart medal which
was awarded posthumously to his father, S Sgt. Frank Heidebrink, who was killed
while serving with the paratroopers in Belgium Jan 30.
Rerald is the son of Mrs. John Ruff, 731 Ann street, Newport.
