J Frank Dye, one of Campbell County's best known business men, died yesterday at his home, Reading road and McGregor avenue, Cincinnati. Mr. Dye had been ailing for a long time with heart trouble, but his condition was not considered serious.

He leaves a widow and five sons. He was President of the Daylight Building Association and also President of the Newport Sand Bank Company. The funeral will be next Monday.

The funeral of J Frank Dye, former well known resident of Newport, who died at his home in Cincinnati, was held this morning with services in the residence. The body will be interred in Evergreen Cemetery.

By the terms of the will of J Frank Dye, who founded the Newport Sand Bank Co. and was prominent in Newport business affairs, his wife Cora receives all the household goods and furniture, save that which was the property of his first wife, and this he gives to his son Cleveland H Dye. He provides that 238 shares of the Newport Sand Bank Co. are to be held in trust and the income used to pay the debts before it is distributed.

The widow is then to get the $10,000 life insurance and 138 shares of stock; each of the five sons is given 20 shares of stock and the residue is to be divided one half to the widow and one tenth to each of the sons. Attorney Frank Benton is named as executor.
