The Navy Department announced that Frank K Barnes, 223 E
Southgate street, Newport, is missing in action with the Navy. Seaman Barnes,
listed as missing since April 22, previously had been reported to the
Kentucky Post.
He was believed to have been aboard the submarine Triton, recently announced as lost by the Navy Department.
