Requiem High Mass for Frank A Kruse, former Newport resident and World War I veteran will be sung at St Theres Church, Southgate, at 9:15 am Monday following prayers at the Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll funeral home, Newport at 8:45 am. Burial will be in St Stephen Cemetery, Ft Thomas. He was 53. Mr. Kruse was born and reared in Newport, died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital, Chillicothe O.
A member of a machine gun battalion in World War I, he was also a member of the Newport Eagles Club and the Holy Name Society of Guardian Angel Church, Mt. Washington. He leaves his widow, Neva Kruse, three brothers, Albert Jr. Newport; Harry, Ft Thomas, and Edward, Southgate; three sisters, Miss Clara Kruse and Mrs. Fred Pelgen Jr. both of Newport, and Mrs. Anna Gough, Middletown O.
