NEWPORT
THE funeral of Mrs. Frances Lock Underwood will take place at 10
o'clock this morning. Mrs. Underwood was the daughter of Mr. J B Lock, for many
years past Treasurer of the School Board. She was the sister of Captain D
R Lock, City Marshall.
She was hurried away while on the sunny side of life by the fell destroyer consumption. She was a person of decided religious convictions and character and much esteemed by a large circle of friends.
