Minutes of January 25-31, 1862

Church met all in peace. Church began the protracted
meeting. Sister Augusta Hutchison had dansed. She confesses and was
forgiven.
Bro. Harrison Clift repented and was restored. Bro. John Beagle had been drunk and profaned. Bro. A Hutchinson had went to shooting match and shot for a turkey for another man. A. Hutchinson had dansed. Martha Millet had dansed. Wm Jolly had plaid cards. George Johnson had swore. Maria Miller had dansed.
Juliet G Morin had plaid checkers. Robt. Ellis had drank too much and plaid cards. G W Ginnings clerked for shooting match.
All of the above confessed repented and was forgiven. The following had been excluded and are now restored; Lafaette Beagle, John Weaver, Wm. Divinna, Maria Carney and B Carney. James Stevens and Elizabeth his wife were received by letter 2.
The following were received by experience and baptism. Mary J (Lacock) now Clift; Wm H Jones, Mary J Nelson, Elizabeth Ellis, Theodore Nelson, Tarlton Rader, Mary Hart, John Jolly, John T B Beagle.
